I have not idea any of the information posted here about Palin's alleged IQ score, and her dropping out of college four times are true. But people sometimes have to drop out of college for other reasons, such as finances. I DO know that it is a published fact that Michelle did NOT have the grades to get into Princeton University but was accepted due to Affirmative Action, and her gender. She wrote her thesis about Princeton Educated Blacks. It was mostly a lot of complaining about being a minority in a white college. Her whole student, and professional career has been based on hiring more teachers, and appointing government placements COMPLETELY based on being a minority, and not on ability, or experience. Palin does bear some responsibility for the Wasilla rape kit issue, but hardly the entire blame. This dastardly system was in place well BEFORE Palin was elected into office. It did remain in place however for several years under her administration until then Sen. Tony Knowles made it a public issue. The police dept claimed they did not have the funds to provide these kits which often cost $1,500.00 and would bill victims who had insurance.
This is totally unacceptable and changes began to take place. The rape rates did NOT increase under Palin's administrations of either major, or Governor however, since Alaska has ALWAYS had the highest rape rate in the country. Yeah, she should have done more about this before it was made an issue. But she did not "implement" this proceedure, she inherited the problem.
In most States, the State pays for the rape kit, but the ER, and medical personal who administer the exam, and perform the kit bill the individual's medical insurance. If they do not have insurance then they can apply for aid through Victims Compensation. This is a flawed system in almost all States. Those who are indigent are not denied these services, but the hospital has to write off all these charges. Alaska now pays for these rape kits. This practice was State wide, not just in Palin's city of Wallisa.

I have not idea any of the information posted here about Palin's alleged IQ score, and her dropping out of college four times are true. But people sometimes have to drop out of college for other reasons, such as finances. I DO know that it is a published fact that Michelle did NOT have the grades to get into Princeton University but was accepted due to Affirmative Action, and her gender. She wrote her thesis about Princeton Educated Blacks. It was mostly a lot of complaining about being a minority in a white college. Her whole student, and professional career has been based on hiring more teachers, and appointing government placements COMPLETELY based on being a minority, and not on ability, or experience. It kind of sums it all up in end doesn't it?

Affirmative action may or may not have played a part in Obama getting into Harvard, but it had nothing to do with him being named president of the Harvard Law Review, an organization for the top 7 percent of law students at Harvard. He was the first black president.

Palin does bear some responsibility for the Wasilla rape kit issue, but hardly the entire blame. This dastardly system was in place well BEFORE Palin was elected into office. It did remain in place however for several years under her administration until then Sen. Tony Knowles made it a public issue. The police dept claimed they did not have the funds to provide these kits which often cost $1,500.00 and would bill victims who had insurance.
This is totally unacceptable and changes began to take place. The rape rates did NOT increase under Palin's administrations of either major, or Governor however, since Alaska has ALWAYS had the highest rape rate in the country. Yeah, she should have done more about this before it was made an issue. But she did not "implement" this proceedure, she inherited the problem.

In most States, the State pays for the rape kit, but the ER, and medical personal who administer the exam, and perform the kit bill the individual's medical insurance. If they do not have insurance then they can apply for aid through Victims Compensation. This is a flawed system in almost all States. Those who are indigent are not denied these services, but the hospital has to write off all these charges. Alaska now pays for these rape kits. This practice was State wide, not just in Palin's city of Wallisa.

As a mostly conservative woman who is also pro-choice, I actually really, really admire Sarah Palin. I'd say that I wish she'd run for president in four years, but I wouldn't wish that sort of misery on anybody.
