Wow! Most actors would show up late with a ten person entourage, demand the best seat and make a big deal about it. Denzel got the best seat because he showed up early by himself - I guess there is still classy people in Hollywood.
Looking at the picture, he's in Orange Section 4. That's pretty amazing as most of the celebs were in section 12 (orange). I was in Section 12 as well, and it does make you respect one aspect of DC. Celeb status is not always based on how often you have shown your vagina. There were a fair number of NASA scientist folks, lots of Former Members of the House and Senate, school teachers, and some Midshipmen up from Annapolis. It was a nice cross section of people that had done significant things (and a few vagina show-ers thrown in to keep things from getting stale).
He WILL be playing Obama in the biopic of his life story.Reason he went early and got such good seats is because not only is he there for the cause,but hes there researching his role,getting the feel of the day as it pans out...
you know he won't keep all his promises taxes will go up ,the mexicans think he will help them with the MIGRA thing but he won't ,he will send them back thats what he will do ,no gay weddings either and what ever other promise he made it won't happen
Unlike 90% of players who talk about politics for most of the time, I have not seen Denzel ever talking about politics, but some of his films it says much about him and his thinking: Cry Freedom, Malcolm X, Hurricane ... These movies show that he isn't Republican. But he is smart not to have ever mixed in politics if the proposal is not deserved. From Europe, we see Obama as the first American politician who deserves our respect for 45 years and not because he is black. This indicates that Denzel is very intelligent, he could have also given their support for Colin Powell or Condoleza and he has not. Thanks Denzel, from Spain.
