Re: Patrick Swayze: Pancreatic cancer has such a poor prognosis (and fast metastasis) that quitting now wouldn't do anything to help his condition. The stress of trying to quit might even make his life shorter at this point. The poor guy might as well get to be comfortable in his last few months, sad as that is to say.
#9 is right.. while the cigs may have contributed to the cancer nothing can help him now.. he could stroke out or something from the stress of not smoking. NOT smoking cigs at this point could kill him faster than continuing to smoke them
