Travolta Stuff

  1. I'm not defending Travolta, but deaths such as this do happen. I had a friend who had a seizure in the shower, hit his head (knocking him out), then drown in the tub due to water that was backed up from a slow drain. That's the first thing I thought of when I heard about this tragic story.

  2. The kid seemed to either suffer from autism or mental retardation but the Travoltas say no. Either way, we all saw this coming since Scientology only treats medical conditions with vitamins and barley water. First they said Jett sustained a head injury from a fall and then it was a seizure. Then it was revealed the body lay undiscovered for hours and then a family lawyer said Travolta was there, administered CPR to his son and Jett died in his arms. RIIIIGHT.
Not a big deal about the autopsy and investigation. Scientology will pay people off. Or maybe the kid isn't really even dead. Maybe they just had him put away for life (didn't that happen to one of the Kennedys?) and they needed a way to explain his permanent absence. *shrug*

  5. Nonsense. We now know Jett Travolta was taking a drug called Depakote, a strong anti-seizure medication. There have been reports Travolta refused to give his son anti-seizure meds because of Scientology but those stories are not true.

Also, there is a statement of the Church of Scientology now:

  7. Condolences to the Travoltas. This reminds me of the kind of stuff you read about Jehovah's Witnessess and blood transfusions,( don't come to my place again guys, please).

On the bright side, at least the Scientologists haven't declared a jihad against us non-believers, and the only ones being oppressed are lousy actors who need to wear metal pots on their heads to get clear or something.

  8. OK..so here's the thing..
Where as I feel horrible for Jett that he died, I do NOT feel an ounce of sympathy for John or Kelly Travolta because they have denied their son's obvious problems with autism for all his life. Treating his affliction like it was a curse to the family..
They dumped him on nannies all his life and concentrated on the girl.
I know a lot of people think Travolta is such a stand up kinda guy but personally I think he is just another pompous Scientology FREAK who is only concerned with appearances..
I'm sure Jett's "accidental" death will bring them a huge sigh of relief.
And I don't take his death as a joke, I feel sorry for the kid, not those loser parents of his!

  9. Hey Carrie, it's spelled "you're" because it's a contraction of "you" and "are."

Even John Travolta's retarded dead kid knows that.

  10. Why are you people at this website if you can't take Todd's jokes? Get lost. The rest of us don't need to read your faux-outraged comments.

  11. I'm all for religious tolerance and the American Way and all that shit, but this poor kid never had a chance with those fucking Scientoligists in his life. R.I.P., Jett, you deserved so much
    better.

  12. good post #8, I agree

  13. anon 09:37 has it right. Unfortunately Jett had a fairly severe form of autism, and his parents refused to enroll him in programs that could have improved his condition, and quality of life. Numerous articles have stated that Jett would sit in front of a television all day eating junk food with little or no interaction with others. He had "minders" who did little more than look after his basic needs, but John refused to acknowledge his son's condition, or help him. He is denying it still, even after death- his autism is not ever mentioned.

  14. #9, you beat me to it! I was about to point that out, also. lol

  15. I'm no fan of Scientology and I don't think that Jett was given the best care by a long shot, but in fairness to the family, Jett was not "dumped" with nannies all the time. When I lived in NY I used to see them occasionally, and Jett was always with John- I never saw John without him. We used to go to the same gym and I saw the two of them there several times. He even took Jett with him to work out, so I don't believe that Jett was just dumped with nannies all the time.

I think the truth is that John and Kelly are just actors and really aren't all that bright. They allowed themselves to be duped by this "religion" and believed all of the faux medical advice they were given. They bought it all and Jett paid the price for that ignorance.

  16. Having a mentally retarded adult relative with autistic behaviors, I've read all the articles and watched the videos about Jett with interest. The video of him with his family dining out in Paris on x17 was practically a mirror image of my relative, who has to be medicated with anti-OCD and anti-psychotic drugs so he doesn't hurt himself and others. I don't doubt John and Kelly loved their son, but they let that idiotic cult control their lives and their children's lives, and this is the result. I read that John cried out, "Oh God, help me!" as Jett was being carted away in the ambulance. Funny he didn't cry out to L.Ron. Too little, too late?

  17. Come on, stop all the prissy lying. Gay scientologists are funny and so is a head-slamming epileptic fit by a retard. South Park is going to have one of its funniest episodes ever this year.

  19. Poor kid, he was born into a fucked up family. With proper treatment he would've had a better life

  21. IF he hit his head hard enough, he could have have died of a subdural hematoma, and bleed internally. This is very possible.
