  1. Wow. I can't believe Hilary would talk that away about a legend such a Faye Dunway. I'm guessing Hilary Duff fans don't know who Bonnie and Clyde are, so she's probably right about her fans not knowing who Dunway is. That still doesn't make her right for the part.

    By anonymous, on February 4, 2009 06:09:41

  2. what a fucking joke and what a bunch of retarded moron friends she must have if they don't know who Faye Dunaway is...and she was smoking hot back in the day, you could tell that she actually loved to get fucked and was not just a plastic cutout sex symbol...

By Lee Cadaver, on February 4, 2009 06:20:32

  3. ha good for hillary. Is faye d the keeper of the bonnie & clyde legacy? serves the tired old starlet right to be put in her place and hillary is probably spot on, how many people under 40 remember ms dunaway?

    By PK, on February 4, 2009 06:20:41

  4. Are her fans old enough to see her graphically get shot to pieces for five minutes?
    Who had that idea?

    By anonymous, on February 4, 2009 06:24:35

  5. That was pretty bitchy for Dunaway to say that. Give the girl a chance. She's still a very young actress and most of her roles have been very marshmallow. And good for Duff for standing up for herself. She was disrespected so regardless of Dunaway being a cinematic icon, the old hag asked for it. I'd like to see her do well in the role and make the obviously bitter old bag eat crow.

    By anonymous, on February 4, 2009 06:28:22

  6. Someone should remind Hilary Duff of her current fuckpig status. She was only cute when she first started sprouting boobies and now she looks like a fucking horsetoothed jackass. Faye Dunaway in her prime was the hottest fucking thing ever. Hillary Duff in her prime is a chunky monkey.

    By sushi, on February 4, 2009 06:29:31

  7. that old hag needs to shut the hell up. You are old and you are useless, go die already. Hilary is hot and worth more to the world than than this old leach that is doing nothing but draining money from social services.

    By anonymous, on February 4, 2009 06:38:15

  8. Hilary missed a great opportunity to take the high road. The correct response - "it's the best role I've ever won and I can only try my best to live up to the standards of a screen legend like Faye Dunaway" blah blah blah - would have generated lots of sympathy for her. Which, obviously, she'll really really really need.

    By anonymous, on February 4, 2009 06:42:19

  9. wow

    By anonymous, on February 4, 2009 06:44:03

  10. #3 is right about Faye's thinking she's the keeper of that legacy. She has a history of being a bit self-important. I think it has something to do with covering for insecurity. She's an actress, it comes with the territory.

    By anonymous, on February 4, 2009 06:44:16

  11. Todd, do you want to write about politics or Hilary Duff? Pick one and go with it.

    By anonymous, on February 4, 2009 06:49:06

  12. #8, I agree completely. Hilary should have been the bigger person and showed maturity in this situation instead of being more disrespectful than Dunway was.

By Little Bo Peep, on February 4, 2009 06:55:26

  13. Faye Dunaway is most famous for Mommie Dearest, and if talentless Hilary Duff is trying to be an actress she shouldn't shit where she eats. Be nice to the Hollywood Royalty Club or else, Hilary.

    By anonymous, on February 4, 2009 06:56:08

  14. hilary duff is a talentless little disney bitch, who, judging by these pics and her last music video, is getting worried, and desperate to remain relevant. maybe if any of these money whores had any talent they wouldn't have to resort to pimping themselves out. and dunway is right; out of all these actresses, the best they can do is hilary fucking duff? who cares if her sad little fans dont know anyone over the age of 21? the fact remains hollywood is pathetic and can't do any better than remaking good movies into lame ass second rate copies. respect your elders, you little snot, and recognize that she's right anyway--without a bunch of preteen girls screaming for lizzie mcguire you'd be fucking your way to the middle.

    By anonymous, on February 4, 2009 06:57:10

  15. Fuck yea, Hilary. Faye may be a legend but she publically insulted someone else. How many of us would just keep our mouths shut out of "respect" for the older actress? Fuck that. You insult me. You better fuckin' believe I'm gonna insult you.

    By anonymous, on February 4, 2009 06:59:12

  16. War, INC. is worth a rental. Hilary has chops...

    By anonymous, on February 4, 2009 07:04:26

  17. Yeah, who the hell is Faye Dunaway? She was only nominated for Best Actress 3 times and won in 1976 for Network. Piffle. That kind of thin resume certainly doesn't qualify her to comment on the quality of a legend like Hilary Duff.

Especially in a remake of a movie Dunaway starred in that is generally considered a landmark film and was ranked in 44th best movie ever by AFI.

Hillary Duff was Lizzie McGuire. That and four Razzie's puts her in Meryl Streep territory.

    By anonymous, on February 4, 2009 07:11:14

  18. @17. I snorted a little when I read your comment.
Faye Dunaway is a living legend and one of the most respected actresses of her generation.
Hillary Duff is known for horse teeth and a high forehead.
Although what Faye said was bitchy (but obviously right) Hillary just proved how juvenile she was by attacking Faye's looks. Some day she'll be old too.

    By boo, on February 4, 2009 07:26:44

  19. #15 It's exactly your attitude that makes most people weep for the future. Respect your elders. How old are you? You sound like a 15 year old boy with his pants hanging off his ass and his underwear hanging out.

    By anonymous, on February 4, 2009 07:28:13

  20. #14, you can suck it. From what I have ever seen or read of Duff, she is a very respectful young woman. Respect is a two way avenue. Why, just because she is an old ACTRESS, should Dunaway be granted unconditional respect? Neither of these ladies are turning wine into water here so, old or young, there should be mutual respect. Hell, if anything Dunaway is the one that should know better. What it she? Like 105? I guess being older than Moses and once being attractive at some stage in your life grants you full access to be a full blown douche bag when you get older. Good to know.

    By anonymous, on February 4, 2009 07:29:26

  21. People are arguing over that fugly midget fake horse teeth Hilary Duff on a blog? This is the most press she's gotten in - ever.

    By anonymous, on February 4, 2009 07:34:32

  22. just one more question---is anyone even going to see this movie?? its not like hillary duff has any fans over 13.

    By anonymous, on February 4, 2009 07:45:33

  23. At least Hilary looks good naked so lets hope the movie has lots of nudity frontal nudity bet she is silky smooth down there

By Hilary get naked hun, on February 4, 2009 07:50:14

  24. "I might be mad if I looked like that now too."
hhhahahah. Just wait 15 years duffster. You're going to look like a bag of meat in the gutter. As iggy pop once said, "Your pretty face is going to hell".

    By anonymous, on February 4, 2009 07:52:02

  25. #3: I'm 31 and I know who Faye Dunaway is. And I know how talented of an actress she is. Not some pre-packaged Disney product who throws shit-fits when other actresses she doesn't like (translation: actresses who can out-sing and out-act her with one hand tied behind her back) shows up to releases, parties, nightclubs that she attends. Need I mention her control-freak of a mother who throws tantrums whenever her sweet babygirl can't get the money that she asks for or the part in a movie she wants? Never heard of Dunaway acting like that. Duff needs to thank Faye Dunaway for paving the road that these quasi-actresses try to walk on. Albeit POORLY.

    By anonymous, on February 4, 2009 07:54:43

  26. 25 comments later....and the gossip mill/PR machine rolls on... methinks the movie studio, Dunaway, Duff, Dunaway's rep and Duff's rep are pleased as punch...

    By anonymous, on February 4, 2009 08:23:01

  27. #18 is a fucking idiot. Clearly, they cannot appreciate sarcasm.

    By anonymous, on February 4, 2009 08:27:37

  28. Hey #27, I think #18 was agreeing with #17. I believe the "snort" was at the humor and sarcasm.

    By anonymous, on February 4, 2009 08:36:09

  29. Obviously the Hillary fantards are pissed about this. Reality is a bitch isn't it?

    By anonymous, on February 4, 2009 08:55:35

  30. To quote John Huston in Chinatown, which also starred Faye Dunaway: "Politicians, ugly buildings and whores all get respectable if they last long enough."

You do know how most of these "Hollywood legends" became legends don't you? On their knees.

Apart from that, please tell me, what is the difference between Hilary and Faye? Faye was like a sexier Hilary Duff, Hilary Duff is like a more charming Faye Dunaway. They look almost identical.

    By Michael D., on February 4, 2009 09:00:11

  31. That kid is dead ass wrong. Faye's portrayal of Joan Crawford in Mommy Dearest is timeless. I have a sister who is 19 and if you ranted "NO MORE WIRE HANGERS" at her she would be laughing her ass off. I think that lots of younger fil buffs would have seen "Chinatown" and "Bonnie and Clyde" too. I used to watch B&C everytime it was on TV when I was a kid.

I can't imagine that Ms. Duff considers herself a real actress. I am only aware of her from her occasional press in the gossip blogs. When I think of young great actresses, her name never pops into my mind.

What the heck has she been in anyhow?

    By wickedorchid, on February 4, 2009 09:04:30

  32. Duff did just fine in War, Inc. It takes time to build any sort of real resume as an actress, particularly if you're trying to cross-over from singing. Maybe she should have taken the high road here, but maybe Faye should have kept her mouth shut too. :)

    By anonymous, on February 4, 2009 09:06:28

  33. This is great publicity for the new Bonnie and Clyde movie! I'm with you #26.

    By anonymous, on February 4, 2009 09:19:05

  34. I don't know. I mean, Ms. Dunaway is a little washed up, but maybe Hilary should have kept her mouth shut. On her acting merits, she did fine in War, Inc. Let's give the kid a shot. Maybe she'll surprise us. She has fans over 13. Just the fact that she managed to start in Disney and escape it without taking her clothes off on the internet makes me her fan.

    By anonymous, on February 4, 2009 09:30:46

  35. please, do not forget faye was with pretty johnny depp...that says volumes. duff will never get close to somth like that ever.

    By anonymous, on February 4, 2009 09:54:24

  36. Look at pic #6, she has a Dunaway-esque look going there. She's not that young anymore, all of 26, so give her a chance.

    By anonymous, on February 4, 2009 09:56:50

  37. Shut the fuck up about War Inc. You're the only ONE who watched it #34, #32, and #16. Stop posting the same stuff. Are you Hilary Duff's mom?

    By anonymous, on February 4, 2009 10:02:30

  38. Ms. Dunaway is a legend, no doubt, but she was known to be somewhat difficult to work with in her day, and there's nothing classy about one actress crapping on another. Of course, old Horse Chops was a certain stroke of bad casting.

    By anonymous, on February 4, 2009 10:06:45

  39. If you are fast enough #27, maybe you can catch the boat that you missed......

    By anonymous, on February 4, 2009 10:10:55

  40. To get respect you need to give respect. What the old hag said was hurtful and bitter and I don't blame H.D. for responding to the slam. Good for her.

    By anonymous, on February 4, 2009 10:21:54

  41. They're raping a classic! Just like Indiana Jones!

    By MPT, on February 4, 2009 10:36:48

  42. At least Faye Dunaway has a neck

    By duffhasagoodheadonhershoulders, on February 4, 2009 10:59:17

  43. Wait until Faye hears about than the upcoming "Chinatown" remake starring Lindsey Lohan and Keanu Reeves...

    By Dezeinstein, on February 4, 2009 12:02:54

  44. I only posted one time. I'm sorry I watched War, Inc., since it obviously bothers you so much #37!

    By #34, on February 4, 2009 12:17:44

  45. Acting chops and experience = relative to one's ability to successfully portray a convincing character........."Looks" = apparently a big part of what's important to Ms. Duff. (Ugh)

    By Janbo, on February 4, 2009 12:21:49

  46. Nice Obama slam!

    By anonymous, on February 4, 2009 12:46:02

  47. Insulting the looks of a elderly woman--how novel. Didn't this twit go to Harvard?

    By anonymous, on February 4, 2009 12:46:16

  48. Here's calling miscast of the decade. Hell, I'm not even "calling", I'm sure the people who made the choice were completely out on crack and will drop it after they finally see the flop. And, come on, it's not so difficult for us, common folks, to see the same now.

    Weird fucking Hollywoodland...

    By anonymous, on February 4, 2009 12:46:32

  49. BTW, what Faye Dunaway said wasn't an insult or lack of respect. It was the truth. Just because you sugarcoat shit it doesn't mean it becomes candy. This Duff chick is in movies, but isn't an actress.

    By anonymous, on February 4, 2009 12:48:04

  50. Look at least she isn't one of Sean Avery's " sloppy seconds".
On the other hand, she ain't a Shakespearean actress.
I think a more interesting re-make would be with Billy-Ray and Miley Cyrus, with special appearances by Amy Winehouse and Brittany Spears.
It's all about the box office people.

    By Morgan, on February 4, 2009 13:11:10

  51. Easy tiger... I posted #16 and ONLY #16. it's just a gossip blog...I thought the movie was pretty damn funny and she was pretty good in it.

    By anonymous, on February 4, 2009 13:15:08

  52. To quote Ryan Seacrest from "Knocked Up":

"What is it with the young talent in this town? They're all on the payroll. They're all sucking the teet! And they fuck my day up...that's what they do, they fuck my day up."

    By anonymous, on February 4, 2009 14:16:06

  53. ~**~disney's bonnie and clyde~**~

    By anonymous, on February 4, 2009 14:17:49

  54. You haven't heard the worst of it yet. Since young audiences hate unhappy endings, Bonnie and Clyde will escape to Bolivia where they will run a hotel with Butch and Sundance.

    No nasty, bloody gunfights.

Oh, and they'll return all the money they stole.

By Movies suck bad these days, on February 4, 2009 15:09:56

  55. "Are her fans old enough to see her graphically get shot to pieces for five minutes?
    Who had that idea? "
    That's the Part I'll enjoy most !
Pretty frikkin' stupid comment on her part if you ask me.

    By BukkNekkid , on February 4, 2009 19:16:31

  56. lol at the people defending hilary duff.

    By anonymous, on February 4, 2009 20:53:09

  57. hell Hilary is ugly and young, faye is old but was way hotter than Hill when she was hill's age.
Hillary that is just some bad karma, you are gonna age like shit now, dumbass, ever heard of karma bitch?????
Your movie will flop, no one will hire you because you have no class and are obviously very imature.

    By anonymous, on February 5, 2009 02:51:44

  58. man who looks more like a horse, Hilary or sarah jessica parker?? tough call, seriously hilary, you should not be dissing anyone's looks, take a good look at you mug in the mirror.
PS glad joel dumped you and started a family with nicole.

    By hahahahahaha, on February 5, 2009 03:09:05

  59. Ha #58. She must really feel like shit that she got dumped for Skeletor with a rap sheet.

    By anonymous, on February 5, 2009 03:44:33

  60. Back in the day, Dunaway was one of the best looking actresses around. Duff will never be as pretty as she was, but then hopefully she won't hack up her face as she ages, either. Dunaway looked good in clothes, that was basically her Bonnie and Clyde performance.

    By anonymous, on February 5, 2009 05:21:18

  61. Hillary is not an actress and Faye f*cked up her face, so both Biitches are right.

    By anonymous, on February 5, 2009 07:24:29

  62. Duff is a midget with no neck and no talent.
Faye hacked her face and is full of shyyt.
So both b*tches agree no problem here.

    By anonymous, on February 5, 2009 07:50:57

  63. This Duff girl is a nobody. Dunaway is sooo right.

    By anonymous, on February 6, 2009 03:37:08

  64. I think both women are fantastic.
I think they both said a little more than was necessary. I think older Hollywood needs to step aside and make way for fresh talent, and young Hollywood needs to respect the people that paved the way for them.
BTW the resemblance between them IS uncanny.

    By Mel, on February 7, 2009 13:36:13

  65. Ugh. Casting Hilary for the part of Bonnie is ridiculous. For one, the voice wouldn't suit at all. Bonnie is a powerful character, not a little girl, and I don't think Duff has the acting ability to rise up.
Faye fit the part beautifully, and has aged really, really well.
Oh well. Now Hilary has the added challenge of rising up to the part.
