In other words: a predominately white, heterosexual society will find white, heterosexual displays of affection most palatable. This should hardly be shocking. The reasons for this are many: biological impetus to mate with mirror images (whites seeking whites, blacks seeking blacks, etc.), homosexuality as a genetic/drastic environmental alteration wildly deviating from the heterosexual norm, so on and so forth.
So, what does it all mean? It means that for all the well-intentions of those who seek equality of not only treatment and respect, but also visibility in both the media (movies, TV, etc.) and news, be prepared for shocking disappointment. All those not falling under white-heterosexual will find their demographic forever living in the shadow of it, never represented nearly as frequently. This is simply to be expected.
Unfair to born gay/black/asian/anything but white-straight in this society? Surely. Just as it's unfair to be born anything but attractive, unintelligent and charming. Nature expresses itself in every way, and some of those expressions are inferior, relatively speaking.
As a straight woman, I find the one of him french kissing totally hot. If it were Megan Fox and Angelina Jolie kissing like that, straight guys would find it hot and not be concerned with the gayness....
