  5. I really hope it is a good movie because too many good books have been made into movies and they are really disappointing.

    By anonymous, on March 27, 2009 05:11:10

  6. I remember Max being a bad ass, he looks fairly meek in this trailer...grrrr

    By anonymous, on March 27, 2009 05:19:37

  7. Spike lee could not direct traffic at a 4 way stop intersection on a sunday night much less a movie...unless it was about me and how I set the rap world on the edge in the 90's....me and that poser biggie smalls had problems but I took care of fat boy..SHHHOOO nuf

  8. okay, well for all of you who obviously SUCK i can see how this trailer wouldn't get you excited. me, i actually wanted to cry... everyone wants to be a kid again.

    By anonymous, on March 27, 2009 05:29:35

  9. well apparently i'm a cyborg then, because i hated this book.

    By anonymous, on March 27, 2009 05:34:19

  10. #7, were talking about spike jonze here, ass clown.

movie looks interesting.....there has been a lot of noise about this movie and having massive amounts of cutting. spike had one perspective and WB had another and they battled about it.

    By anonymous, on March 27, 2009 06:03:12

  11. Spike Jonze not Spike Lee. But I agree with you.

    By anonymous, on March 27, 2009 06:04:55

  12. If your name is Spike you are a d-bag...

    By anonymous, on March 27, 2009 06:09:37

  13. okay my bad... but who the hell is spike jones..Do robots dream of electric sheep???

By ice ice baby, on March 27, 2009 06:20:21

  14. #13, he direct Being John Malkovich. And #9, what's to hate? So many people love it that it's considered a classic. Oh well, each to their own I guess.

    By anonymous, on March 27, 2009 06:41:39

  15. #10 who really cares asshat..Im sure a fag like you would find it interesting..too much info dork

By axle rose, on March 27, 2009 07:54:40

  16. Spike Jonze is the Ryan Adams looking fella who is currently banging Michelle Williams. You know...skinny jeans, converse, East Village. Looking forward to his overly-indie adaptation of the book.

    By anonymous, on March 27, 2009 07:57:57

  17. #15, yes you are right....i am in fact a homosexual

    By anonymous, on March 27, 2009 08:16:27

  25. Best book ever.

By Cubs Fan, on March 27, 2009 10:12:15

  26. This movie looks FUCKING HORRIBLE.

And that song? What the FUCK were they thinking?
Turning a classic children's book into fucking HIPSTER GARBAGE.

What next, a fucking movie version of "Goonight Moon" featuring a soundtrack by Fall Out Boy and cameos by Philip Seymour Hoffman and Paul Giamatti?

Take your MySpace tunes and shitty CGI and go fuck yourself up the ass.

    By anonymous, on March 27, 2009 11:26:46

  27. Nah, it's still a story meant for toddlers, regardless of how many hipster geeks line up to see it.

    By anonymous, on March 27, 2009 11:27:33

  28. #26, you just called guys in suits "shitty CGI", which makes you an idiot.

    By smatt584, on March 27, 2009 12:00:21

  29. 1. Why can't you have proper links in the videos so they can be linked to someone else? Even the email link doesn't work.

    2. #26: You go, dude(tte)!

The music in the trailer reminded me a lot of the theme for "United States of Tara" and "Weeds". Very hipster. But I did squeal when I saw the rest of it. I likededed da book when chiquita. Si!

    By cinco, on March 27, 2009 13:18:29

  30. holy shit, I teared up just watching the promo. I didn't have a happy childhood - I was one of those kids that retreated in to books to escape sthe real world. The books of my childhood are pretty special to me, so I really hope Spike doesn't stuff it up.

By Red Cat, on March 27, 2009 17:10:52

  31. I'm pumped!

    By FemBot, on March 27, 2009 17:33:25

  32. This movie seems entirely unnecessary.

    By anonymous, on March 27, 2009 18:24:51

  33. it looks like it should be called "where the eternal sunshine of the wild things' spotless minds are."

    By anonymous, on March 27, 2009 18:40:55

  34. It's amazing how children's books (this, Harry Potter, ect) books can be turned into pretentious coffee house fodder for the thin legged pants brigade. Brilliant marketing, I'd say.

    By anonymous, on March 28, 2009 01:50:34

  35. fallout boy totally rocks..did you say they are playing on the soundtrack for goodnight moon...whatever that is..then it must be kool..I have a towel thathas the sweat from fallout boy on it..its my favorite

  37. I'd make you squeal with delight.

    By Chantelle, on March 28, 2009 07:23:05

  38. Looks better than the opera.

    By anonymous, on March 28, 2009 08:01:19

  39. Great books great movie but is not going to make money because it does not have a FAG VAMPIRE in it ,or s dumb kid with glasses who flies on a broom ,or some asswipes looking for some ring ,the little airheads will stay home for this movie

you won't see them screaming WILD THINGS while tears come down their pimply faces

By The dumb tweens will not see it , on March 28, 2009 09:38:32

  40. "rage and black ice". oh how you make me laugh brother todd.

By Brother Darkness, on March 28, 2009 12:22:49

  41. I am 26, I loved this book when I was a kid. This trailer made me tear up and if you're not into it, just don't go see it, you know?

    By anonymous, on March 29, 2009 16:10:08

  42. i'm 47 and the book was as good as any pansy ass Hairy Ass Potter book written. Ya sure there's no where near the volume but the meats there. As a boy I'd have ruled Wild Things Monsters too. The rest of you were probably child fags that slept with the lights on
