I think helmets would probably be a good idea when skiing. Just like the lightweight bicycle helmets. Wish her luck/ health. If she has tbi its going to be a long difficult road for everyone involved.
I hope that she recovers..I know a full recovery is highly unlikely but I hope she is at least able to function and be a mother to her children. That's sad.

Yes. You may receive a concussion, which I have had from football. Or temporary brain swelling. Even a slight blood vessel bleed that can be treated with steroids. TBI is extremely serious with long lasting consequences.
Unfortunately, it seems as though this woman has passed on. Sometimes the person on the inside can no longer keep the person on the outside alive. I hope her family and close friends find peace. Life is frail. Live it to the fullest.
Apparently it didn't look that bad...she actually looked okay and was able to talk after the fall and all that, however, she later felt dizzy and was taken to the hospital...its been on Canadian news...

Poor Natasha, I did skiing once in my life and it was the last time, I fell and took over with me six people dragging them down.
