Whatever idiot thought it would be a good idea to taunt a cat with an electronic helicopter with metal blades that could slice the cat's eyes should get chased around by a real helicopter in an open field.
I was disappointed the cat wasn't harmed in some way. How I wish the helicopter had debilitated it and left it stricken with chronic pain of the most severe intensity, ensuring its remaining life was one of constant suffering--an all-encompassing misery of both body and mind. Ideally, the medical attention necessary to stop the blood loss and stabilize the cat would necessitate its permanent residence in a veterinary hospital. There, the pain and bewilderment, torturous as it was, would still not exceed the deafening depression of being abandoned by its owner. Without the vigilance its loved one's fidelity supplies, the animal would succumb to its injuries in a week's time. One could take satisfaction that 168 hours of hell may indeed seem an eternity. If so, let that be near enough to proper damnation.
Just kidding, of course.
We do not want to suffer, nor do we want those beings whom we love to suffer. Yet, even if that scenario crushed your heart, to imagine it steadily, without censorship in every horrible detail, will make you stronger. Replace the cat with your mother or father, a sister or brother, a boyfriend, girlfriend, husband or wife. Do not turn your mind's eye away!; examine every crevice of your blackest nightmare. Fear is our greatest limitation: fear of death, fear of failure, fear of inferiority, fear of abandonment, fear of pain, and fear of loneliness. To conquer them in that order ensures maximized utility for your being for-itself. It will not be easy; no one subjugates fear so completely. In this instance, though, to be close counts. Reality does not care if you suffer or enjoy; it has been written anyhow. Nevertheless, what you do from this point forward, having read these words, is the continuation of that destiny. Will you fear, or will you you be free? Make your decision now.

That cat looks like the creature that tries to eat Luke Skywalker in Empire Strikes Back.
