Habitual liars have problems because they have to lie to cover their lies, and a lot of times they forget the details they're lying about. That's the situation here; she may be "Christian", but her honesty is totally in doubt...

If by your analogy being gay is a choice, then being straight must also be a choice; how I hear you ask? Well, to consciously choose to be gay must mean you have chosen BETWEEN being straight and being gay as you cannot choose between being gay and nothing. Therefore being straight is a choice too!!!

The thing that I find really bizarre about the whole thing is that the Miss California pageant had no problems paying for implants for Ms. Prejean. Frankly, I have a lot more trouble with that (and even more so, the fact that it doesn't seem to be much of an issue) than with her response to a obviously loaded question from an self-promoting idiot.
