Did she actually use those words?? this whole quote sounds like something a Jr. in highschool would say after their little class trip to Madrid one spring break and they're all impressed & excited & hate-y america-y... the height of ignorance.... and they actually let these people breed...?

I have no issue with her comments, but she needs to enjoy where she has come from to apperciate were she is now!
If she would visit major cities in Europe, everyone is stuck to their mobile phone, same for Bombay (India), Shanghi (China) and rest of popoulated cities across the world.
Indians are very family orientated people but everyone has a mobile phone and include the poor and always talking on the damn thing.
GB enjoy Amercia because it is your own country and you should be proud of its achievements and not always comparing against other nations in a public forum.

I agree with what's-her-name on one thing. People in New York do seem a little intense and high strung. But comparing the Spanish countyside to New York isn't quite accurate. If one were to get away from the crowded bustling metropolitan areas of the U.S. and get out into the countryside, one might find it pretty laid back and easy going. A little tip for ya Hon, get out and mingle with the real people of this country before making inaccurate comparisons.
