People LOVE that Lady Gaga (her songs are catchy enough but she is ridic) and people do love Kanye(when I saw his Glow in the Dark tour in San Jose it was PACKED, even I was surprised and I love his stuff). I doubt the ticket sells were low... but everything else I believe.
They are both relatively talented performers. Not my thing though. The problem I see with this tour is that their music attract two different crowds. It was a bad idea from the start.
Even Gaga refuses to share a stage with puzzlehead. I'm sure she can probably hire someone without ego issues to walk around while she sings waving one arm, saying "Heeey, Uhhh, Yoooo" and do 12 seconds of rap if she needs to.
