i usually defend her but this is ridiculous. first of all, not all actresses are sexy. there are plenty of women who have careers based on their talent or humor. there is a long list of women working who didn't start out the way she does. maybe what she means is that it's okay for some women to use that to get their foot in the door, but to suggest that that is the only way for women to succeed is really sad :(

Women are pressured by media and society to be more openly sexual with ever day attire and what not, and made to feel that without it they have not much else to offer. But I do believe women naturally have sex appeal (as with men) wether or not they fit the "mold" of media figures and have a right to flaunt their sexuality when and where they please. I think woman's sexuality is still a debatable topic because most men don't quite know how to deal with a woman who is strong, sexual and confident. Their way of dealing with it is to turn the woman into and object to make themselves feel more in control. It's really just a power issue for the most part.
