I'm sure the "original plan" during development was to see if she wouldn't be totally talentless, and is she was to drop her. I've only seen clips of this show on The Soup and she did not seem creepy and disturbing. She was wooden and uninteresting.
Surrrreeee they were planning on eliminating the character at the outset. Hmm, new show, let's introduce characters and have the audience bother to get to know them and then get rid of the characters. That makes soooo much sense. The alternative, that Ashlee is not talented, the audience hates her, ratings suck, show will be canceled eventually because nobody cares, it was a realllll bad idea to cast Ashlee during the "development of the show" in the first place as nobody likes her, but the producers somehow assumed she was popular with America, makes no sense at all.
