I'll pass, thank you very much. Maybe I'll peek at it when it comes to free TV in 2012 after it makes 300 million from the 'brain dead zombie' American public.
I just sat through six minutes of that only to find out that it was Bill Murray, who I have known was going to be in the movie for months now. That is not cool.
I don't get the hype behind this movie. I'm a huge zombie fan but didn't find it that good at all despite desperately wanting to. It was totally devoid of any suspense and the gore was not only minimal but unmemorable. As for the comedy, the cameo was the only thing I really found funny, the rest played out like your typical movie aimed at tweens/teens. Doesn't even come close to Shaun of the Dead.
That movie was the shit! I just downloaded it off limewire. It was truly fucking funny. It was the part Woody Harrelson was born to play.
And Emma Stone. I would so rail her. She is like the Lindsay Lohan that didn't booze and crack it up at age 12. I'd play connect the dots and then spackle her gash until it looked like one of those zombie faces.
While Bill was here in Atlanta shooting the cameo (if I'm not mistaken, he was already in town shooting a Robert Duvall film and the 2 movies shooting periods slightly overlapped), he met a friend of mine while he was getting a haircut at a salon she works at. She told him that her wedding was that weekend and how much it would surprise her husband if he stopped by the reception. He didn't hang out at the reception, but he did stop by, said congrats to the newlyweds, and posed for pics with her and her husband's family.
The whole movie is frifucken hilarious Woody Harrelson with a Bill Murray cameo made the whole movie. Emma in it for the icing add zombies and you got a stew baby! The writing is what held it up as with any movie especially a hor-com it is the part A to the actors Part B ability to deliver the comedy writing.
Just saw the movie and it rocked. It was a perfect zombie movie. Simple. Funny. Woody Harrelson was the best part of the movie. He played his part so well.

OK...this movie looks fucking stupid and if this is its only redeeming factor, then it's even more fucking stupid than I first thought.
