18. The biggest problem I see here is that there is no cool and handsomely awesome dude to fill Johnny Depp's shoes. None of the guys in that trailer looked even remotely handsomely cool. Also, Robert Englund's version of Freddy was spooky in the first installment, but once he started with the corny one-liners in the sequels, Freddy started losing his menacing touch. Let's give the awesome and underrated Mr. Jackie Earle Haley a chance, shall we?

20. Having another version doesn’t discredit the original... Robert Englund will forever be Freddy but just like Superman... we just have to be open to the fact that there is a new face behind it now. We will all get through this.
