That dude got so much pussy back in the day only to have his career fizzle out. He was one lost soul these last few years. Watching the two Coreys when I was bored out of my mind, that guy was a mess. I'll never forget sweet ass Mercedes (Heather Graham) on License to Drive. That's what that movie was known for.
I watched the Two Coreys since I was a Haim fan back in the day, back in the day being the late 80's, (yes, I'm old) and I said to my husband: Corey F will be divorced soon and Corey H will be dead soon. Sorry to say both came true. I'm sure Corey F. will be on every media outlet milking this for all it's worth. I'm not surprised but still saddened by this.
I know you don’t want to be known as a journalist….but Oakwood is an apartment complex not a town. Part of a chain that is known as the first stop after a night on the couch and before an appointment with a divorce attorney.
Sad, but not surprising. Well, I'm just surprised it didn't happen ten years ago. But still, RIP. Why did his face look so different? He had a strange look to him the last years of his life - strange eyebrows.
Dude was a full blown drug addicted jerk. Too bad he didn't get the help he needed to turn his fucked up life around. Hate to say it, but the sole responsibility for his death is on him.
I saw a documentary about the two "Coreys" and all the way through it I felt that Haim was clinging onto Feldman and Feldman through friendship was not willing to say to the camera that he really had moved on and away from Haim. Haim looked the desperate one. The youth and good looks had deserted him and he had nothing to replace it with whereas Feldman seems to have got his life together again. I felt there and then that Haim was only going to meet one end sooner or later. It's a shame and it will be hard to watch the fresh faced Haim in Lost Boys ever again and not feel terribly sad.
I'm so sick and tired of hearing people say things like, "Well, that's the life he chose" or "he should have turned his life around", etc... like he actually has a choice. People don't realize that people who are severely addicted to drugs can't help themselves. Someone who loves and cares for them has to take that step in order to save their lives. I guess nobody cared enough for Corey Haim. I feel for him and all the others who are struggling with drug addiction. It's our responsibility to help them. Look around you in your own lives. Maybe there's someone's life you could save right now. It won't be easy, but you have to try your hardest.
# 32, I agree with you completely, sometimes when a person is in too deep, they can't save themselves anymore. And apparently, he was taking a lot of benzos (valium) among other things...this class of drugs, alone, can cause a person to stop caring about anything, including their own lives. It's called "emotional blunting" and it can happen to addicts and non-addicts alike. If you look at Ledger, Murphy and Jackson's deaths..the common denominator in them all is benzodiazepines...and doctors hand this crap out like it's candy.

He probably cheated death about 12 times before this, so...is it really that surprising?
Just need Lohan to "accidentally overdose."

I hate to say it, but we all knew this was coming. Jeff Conaway is next, I'm sure. Sad.
And yet, Lindsay Lohan is still breathing. WTF??!

I saw Haim at Screamfest in Orlando in '08 and he looked fucking tweaked out of his mind. Not surprised.

"Lucas" was and still is a great coming of age movie.

Good actor, but I don't feel sorry for him. He did it to himself. That's the life he chose.

I'm surprised he held out as long as he did.

I really hate when people feel they need to write out their physical actions like # 19 (no offense).
***stares blankly***
***blowing a kiss***
***making a clicking sound with my tounge***
It really annoys me.

You can't even do a look back at all his works over the years cuz there are none!
By anonymous, on March 10, 2010 12:59:20
this came as such a big surprise to me when I heard this morning.
I thought he was already dead!
By anonymous, on March 10, 2010 13:51:54
He was cool to watch while growing up, some good flicks, but sad to say... it was bound to happen, with his track record of drugs and alcohol. RIP

What a letdown, cuter-of-the-two-Coreys. Can't wait to see how loudly and obnoxiously the fug Corey will decide to publicly mourn.
