I don't think the idea is to get the actress who looks exactly like Marilyn (though obviously a resemblance helps). Naomi is talented and attractive and I think she'll be able to invoke the spirit of Marilyn - beautiful, vulnerable, lost and ultimately unable to cope with the pressures of fame and aging.
