5. I really hope they are casting Angelina to play the middle-aged Cleopatra with Mark Antony and not the 16 year old version that was with Caesar. She's looking pretty haggard lately and is not believable in younger roles. BTW Christopher Plummer was awesome as Caesar.

7. Cleopatra was a highly intelligent political manipulator, Greek and actually quite ugly (there are coins of her around) which makes her feats of seduction all more amazing.
   
   ANgelina Jolie is a Hollywood brat and not very smart (i've seen her interviewed, lol) and has traded solely on her (now faded) looks, so more like mis-casting, if you ask me.
   
   And Brad as Mark Antony? LOL, MA was a brilliant Roman general with brawn and guts to boot, not some pussywhipped dingleberry who's biggest act of courage is sneaking away from the wife to go for a ride on his tricycle.
   
   Taylor and Burton could pull these great roles off because they were larger-than-life in their own right. Jolie and Brad, lol, no. Then again, if a lightweight like Obama can be Prez, that says all you need to know about things today.

20. actually, my former boss was Egyptian and very light skinned. He answered "white" on EEO sections. I know Egypt is in Africa but the residents are not black. Maybe because it's in the north, don't know. See a PR game being started, along the lines of the she can't play marianne pearl.
