The reason Simon was so good on this show was that he was actually evaluating these people as to their potential to make money In the 1st season auditions, some guy showed up dressed sloppily Simon criticized this The guy (let's call him Nancy) responded that he was proud of himself for getting up on dtage like this Simon replied "we are looking for an Idol. A star. Not the way youi are dressed and present yourself"
Unless they replace Simon with someone with that attitude - Bobby Knight comes to mind more than a singer - the show will tank

The idol is not idolized. The dancing stars are not starring in anything. The celebrities rehabbing are not celebrated by anyone outside VH1. America's got talent? Never seen it, but does it really have to be on two hours a night, four fucking nights a week?
Send the horse to the glue factory. Let another animal run on that track, thanks. Like possums and armadillos. I'd flip the channel for a 'Possum VS 'Dillo spectacular.
Perez and Simpson are just as good as Lopez and Tyler, I mean does it really matter any more? What is this 2002? Who even watches this shit anymore? Even my most die-hard faggy friends stopped watching this tripe eons ago.

I'd rather see Posh Spice in that position as I thought she was very accurate in her critiques. I also think Kara did a good job...at least she's got the talent. Ellen was a waste of chair space. Just because she likes music and "dances" doesn't qualify her to judge.

Awesome. Watching this show flay around as it drowns is really amusing. The only thing I've ever watched of this show are the beginning first few episodes for the same reason everyone else does "to watch idiots make fools of themselves". Watching Steven Tyler and JLO ... man now I'm excited for the next season.
