I saw the GnR/Metallica/Faith No More show in 92 too. FNM came on at 6:30 and played for 50 minutes; Metallica came on 25 minutes later and played for over two hours; GnR didn't come on until quarter to midnight, but at least they played until after 2am. Great show, but that extra hour of waiting drained me. People were ripping seats apart and throwing them into the crowd.
Axl has two options. He can suck it up like a man and get the "real" GnR back together and spend the rest of his life rolling around in the pile of money the tour would generate. Or, he can continue being a delusional, insane jerk who appears to have no idea how irrelevant he is.

Axl Rose is a rock and roll legend. GnR saved rock from extinction in the '80s. While it's not cool to show up 90 minutes late, it doesn't give these morons the right to throw bottles at the band, which btw is quite solid. To those of you talking about the "real" GnR, only Axl and Izzy were irreplaceable, because they were the ones who wrote most of the songs. On the other hand, there are many guitar players as good as Slash. GnR could have succeeded without him, but not without Axl. Now a days, any idiot thinks he has the right to talk trash about Axl. Even Matt Sorum, better known as the guy who replaced Steven Adler. Axl is and will always be the most important member of one of the best rock bands ever. Show some respect.

Everyone who bought Appetite through Use Your Illusion albums. He got very fat off us for some reason it dosent sink in to him that we pay his fat checks. Say what you want about David Lee Roth, but the man is the consummate professional who would NEVER fuck up as much as Axl does on a daily basis. Fuckin' Eminem is a better human being than he is.
Guns and Roses is one of the most overrated bands in the history of music. They had ONE good album. Everything else since then has sucked. I would not pay anything to go see them. You could not pay me anything to go see them.
I was there. They weren't 90minutes late. It was about 50minutes, and they came on at 10:20pm, not that bad. It was just ugly, the fans were drunk and upset they booed and threw shit. It was fucked up. But after 30min or so after they intially left, they came back and played another 90minutes or so, Axl was bored and pissed but they played and it sounded bloody fantastic.
Axl never saved anything, in fact he helped ruin rock n roll with his overproduced piano ballads and retarded video productions. One good album, 22 years ago. That's it.
It's not cool that the fans were throwing bottles, but Christ...someone threw a water bottle at that homo Justin Bieber and he was more of a man about than Axl was! Here's a thought, Axl, don't keep your fucking fans waiting for over an hour, then come out and offer no explanation or interact with the crowd at all. If he was actually a talented singer, than there may be justification, but he's not. He sounds like a monkey being skinned alive while someone is crushing its windpipe. You suck Axl. People in South American countries were left waiting for 3 and 4 hours before this asshole decided to show up on stage. People are generous enough to pay to listen to this obsolete scumbag and his fake band and he shows no respect for the ones feeding him. Trailer trash at its top!
