  1. "every woman would blow him in front of their parents" . . . this is infact the truth.

    By anonymous, on October 8, 2010 04:31:31

  2. Props to Johnny Depp. "Booker" was still a better show, though.

    By anonymous, on October 8, 2010 05:01:31

  3. That's 2.4 Billion, not Trillion, by the way. Still, a impressive number.

    By anonymous, on October 8, 2010 05:03:53

  4. I actually spit coffee over walking around with a trident. Good line.

    By anonymous, on October 8, 2010 05:13:41

  5. He's a good egg...

    By anonymous, on October 8, 2010 05:16:07

  6. Gush more, faggot!

    By anonymous, on October 8, 2010 05:23:08

  7. That's 2.4 BILLION not trillion you dork. Of course I don't monitor this site for your mad math skills.

    By rat, on October 8, 2010 05:28:27

  8. I have to admit: To look upon this page and not find one bitter, misanthropic musing by a basement-dweller with low self-esteem was quite a nice surprise. Johnny truly seems to be the real deal, and to be so grounded in a place like Hollywood is damn near a miracle.

    By anonymous, on October 8, 2010 05:28:28

  9. Uh yeah....

    $2,455,961,256

That's $2.4 billion, not trillion. You had me convinced for a minute, though!

    By anonymous, on October 8, 2010 05:34:56

  10. But I look still look good. And, he's only 12th on the list of box office receipts.

    By solamente, on October 8, 2010 05:42:22

  11. And to top it off, his movies are usually pretty good and don't suck. Good on him.

    By Deadsider, on October 8, 2010 05:51:12

  12. I applaud his humanity. Johnny is truly a great guy. Kudos.

Now, can we please have more Kelly Brook, boobs, and the meltdown we lovingly call Lohan? This feel good news is for fagboy Perez Hilton. It is so much more fun to see the degeneration of Hollywood losers and their pecadilloes than heart warming Disney-esque publicity agent propaganda.

After all, this is not People magazine.

    By Storm, on October 8, 2010 05:54:34

  13. AWE!!! We <3 Cap. Jack Sparrow!!

    By anonymous, on October 8, 2010 06:14:53

  14. Wasn't he considered kind of a flake early on?
And he lives in France, so...
    On the other hand...
Holly Robinson was also on 21 Jump Street
I know I spilled enough seed looking at her to populate France
And I'm sure many young girls named their toys Johnny (or Richard, the other guy)
That's what TV needs: more shows with hot chicks that aren't under contract to Disney

But yeah - he sounds like a helluva guy
    I'd let him blow me
    But that's it!

  15. The only thing I want to know about Johnny Depp is when the Goddamn Rum Diary is coming out.

    By anonymous, on October 8, 2010 06:59:12

  16. capt jack!

    By anonymous, on October 8, 2010 06:59:47

  17. He's so anti-hollywood (career path & attitude wise) it's ridonculous. Arrogant full-of-themselves hollywood dumbasses should take a lesson from him (do you hear me, BLOWhan?). With great power comes great responsibility; unfortunately, this is a lesson that's lost on 99.9% of hollywood. It's not lost on Johnny Depp...

    By anonymous, on October 8, 2010 07:03:29

  18. Johnny Depp is truly an impressive and generous individual. The world needs more people like him.

By Midlife Bachelor, on October 8, 2010 07:15:39

  19. That was such a nice thing for him to do.

    By anonymous, on October 8, 2010 07:49:45

  20. I hated Johnny Depp with a passion when he first hit Hollywood, and through the whole Winona thing. But it's really hard to keep hating on a guy who's just so damned nice and shit, and FOR NO GOOD REASON! He's just nice for the sake of being nice. Fuck Hollywood, the whole fucking world could learn something from Johnny Depp.

    By anonymous, on October 8, 2010 08:32:29

  21. Johnny forever

    By anonymous, on October 8, 2010 09:10:28

  22. The things I would do to this man...

    By Brooke, on October 8, 2010 09:35:59

  23. You know, it's one thing to come to a school as Johnny Depp because a fan wrote you a letter, it's another thing to come as a fully dressed character from one of your movies because a fan wrote you a letter. That is ridiculously cool.

    By anonymous, on October 8, 2010 09:37:26

  24. #3, #7 & #9: The trillion/billion thing was a joke made by Todd.

Jeeez, dontcha hate having to explain jokes?

By LA Tall Man, on October 8, 2010 10:34:44

  25. His teeth still only look half as bad as his wife's!

    By joejoe, on October 8, 2010 10:48:36

  26. Now THAT'S a role model, even though I'm a firm believer in parents being the only role model a child should have and NOT blame their shortcomings on actors/athletes/politicians falling from grace. When it comes to strangers (which actors are to most people) being role models he exemplifies the true meaning. Johnny Depp is a stand-up cool guy that's just keeps getting better.

    C'MON!!!

  27. Didn't read the story, because of the fucking POP-UP AD for something else.

    By FreekDaddy, on October 8, 2010 11:07:31

  28. I'm still amazed about his reading stories to kids in a cancer ward for 4 hours, dressed as Capt. Jack Sparrow. And, apparently, he doesn't seek attention with stuff like this; it's done for the sake of the kids. Of course it leaks out (how can it not, given how giving & gracious it is, and who he is), but still...

    By anonymous, on October 8, 2010 12:07:44

  29. I've never found him attractive. I think he's cool, and I'm definitely a fan, but if he were flying into Chicago tomorrow to have sex with me all weekend, I'd be like, no, let's just talk. Something about the creepy catfish facial hair, and the fact that he always looks like he needs a shower.

By Cubs Fan, on October 8, 2010 12:07:58

  30. Add this to Johnny Depp's awesomeness: Johnny Depp lends heart to the season two premiere of this classy documentary series that focuses on interesting folks across the country. (It’s based on host Ira Glass’ radio show.) First up: Glass meets Mike, a bright, disabled young man who can barely move or speak yet communicates via computer. Depp narrates his love notes and other missives. It’s deeply affecting and brilliantly observed.

I saw this show, and I guess they asked the kid who'd he like to be his voice, and he said Johnny Depp and some other actor. The other actor didn't respond. Depp did so with no fanfare whatsoever, and did an incredible job.

  31. He lives in France because Amerikka is populated with arrogant egotistical douchebags who think their shit doesn't stink. Whereas, in Fra...

    um... never mind.

    By anonymous, on October 8, 2010 13:29:28

  32. While Patrick Swayze was in fact my first crush Johnny Depp has been my longest and he is in fact the only man I'd blow in front of my parents. He is just fucking awesome in every way.

    By anonymous, on October 8, 2010 14:34:19

  33. This almost brought a tear to my eye. No sarcasm. I'm at work and I don't want to cry.

Every other celebrity should take a long hard look into the mirror and ask themselves what they have for humanity lately.

P.S. That little girl's letter was really cute. "mutinying" hehehe

    By tizzle, on October 8, 2010 14:38:22

  34. I would pussy-pound this man so hard his penis would be mush by the time I'd finished with him

    By anonymous, on October 8, 2010 15:04:19

  35. He is pure perfection!

By Red Cat, on October 8, 2010 15:14:03

  36. Even better are the things he does that aren't advertised: http://blogs.tampabay.com/media/2008/05/ira-glass-and-t.html

    He simply rocks.

  37. wwjdd?

    By anonymous, on October 8, 2010 15:53:24

  38. The man is truly a god. A close friend to the Good Doctor, the most generous of time and money, and absolutely the most talented of any actor in Hollywood. Hunter is smiling down on him from the heavens. Truly a man too weird to live, and too rare to die.

    By PiFloyd525, on October 8, 2010 16:05:55

  39. Just on a side note:

Did he just take the costume home from the set? Because he seems to have his whole Jack Sparrow get up pretty handy.

    By tizzle, on October 8, 2010 18:26:50

  40. Why is the rum always gone?

    By anonymous, on October 8, 2010 20:19:21

  41. 23. He's done it in the past for ill children in hospital, dressing up as Captain Jack.

Johnny Depp is all class. And fucking hot.
    He is the man.

    By anonymous, on October 8, 2010 21:15:57

  42. Johnny Depp could serve a baked turds at a homeless kitchen and he'd STILL make everyone look bad. And that is why I would blow him wherever, whenever he wanted. He could tell me to just hold it there until he was ready again and I'd do it hapily. in front of my parents.

    By anonymous, on October 9, 2010 04:20:07

  43. Man Johnny Depp is so cool and kind. Love him.

    By anonymous, on October 9, 2010 04:33:38

  44. JD is just phenomenally lucky... a small middle aged man with girly hands (hand doubles used in the POTC movies... check it out). He wouldn't get the time of day if he wasn't an actor.

    By anonymous, on October 9, 2010 07:25:01

  45. #44, your mom's a small middle aged man with girly hands.

    By Staci, on October 9, 2010 10:03:11

  46. I always liked him because he's not egotistical and just did movies he liked even though they didn't make that much money. Most people in Hollywood are hacks who just go for the big payday so it's refreshing when someone doesn't go that route. He's really nice to fans too, never turns down an autograph. There are so few people to admire these days so please don't do something stupid to ruin that....

    By Hoy, on October 9, 2010 10:46:25

  47. #45, You sound fat and probably live with a 100 cats. When does that restraining order for stalking Depp expire ?

    By anonymous, on October 9, 2010 12:01:28

  48. 47, dead on except for the fat, 98 of the cats and the stalking. I'm feeling lazy so I didn't bother explaining to #44 we all know that, no shit Johnny Depp would be a nobody if he wasn't a somebody. That's like saying, "if the Queen had balls she'd be King."

So, I fell back on an old standard. And now I've explained it all anyway so what the fuck.

In short, I was lobbing one at #44, not commenting on Depp one way or another. And you "sound like" you are a dumbass.

    By Staci, on October 9, 2010 13:10:49

  49. to say i'm impressed is an understatement

  50. It might be impossible not to like this guy..As great a human being as he is an actor..

    By anonymous, on October 9, 2010 19:07:40

  51. Awwwwwwwww.....
He is ruler of the universe he's so fucking cool....

    By anonymous, on October 10, 2010 07:35:04

  52. Kindness to the bone. Love it =)

By Ace Tomato, on October 10, 2010 22:15:11

  53. You left out the last part of the 9-yr-old's letter:
"PS - We have a plentiful supply of rum!"

    By anonymous, on October 12, 2010 17:17:35

  54. #45-LMFAO

Depp is a true class act! Nice to see an actor doing things like this out of the goodness of their heart and not just as a PR stunt. Good on him!
