What's your deal with homosexuals? For a site that prides itself on T&A, I see more posts on gay celebs, Lady Gaga and chicks that look like teen boys.
That's actually one of the better posts you've dropped, Todd. "I want to be in the military, but don't bully me!!" What?? That's all the military is about. Didn't ANYONE see "Full Metal Jacket"?
Are you pro-bully, Todd? The military has nothing to do with the Dignity for All Students Act, so far as I know. Not all "gay issues" are the same. You can support Don't Ask Don't Tell and be against gay marriage and still hope that students aren't bullied just for being who they are. Sometimes bullying doesn't lead to character building, it leads to suicide. Good for those people who are trying to prevent such tragedies.
Well put Todd. Nice to see some one who has a great sense of humor and not be blinded and bullied by the liberal mainstream media. I wish there were more people like you.
Amen, Todd. And you know what? I blame the tort lawyers for all this crap. You know... the ones that always support Democratic candidates and poured millions upon millions into Obama's campaign. They're the ones that stand to gain millions in frivolous lawsuits. Strangely you never hear much about that, only how "big oil" pays for Republican candidates, or the "military industrial comaplex" blah blah blah...
Todd, you really need to rethink this post. There's a huge difference between gay children being bullied in school (where they are required to attend, during a kids formative years) and by a drill sergeant in the military (where you have to volunteer, at a time when you've passed your formative years and you know exactly what's coming at you). Comparing the 2 makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Please think this through before you post...
Totally agree with you, Todd. Too much whiny shit coming from the gay/lesbian/freak community. They want special laws to protect them. They want to be sooo loved and sooo accepted. Talk about people with mental issues.
How about equality? You want equality? No you don't, fuckers. You want special treatment. Like the entire "hate crime" label. Who the fuck cares if someone beat you up because you're gay or because they wanted to take your wallet? Same shit to me. But a hate crime label will get you extra years. Fuck you.
Now they want bullying laws. Because bullying didn't exist before and for a hundred different reasons other than being gay. Fuck you, again.
I have a gay son who dealt with his share of bullying in school. All these special protections are bullshit. If anything they worsen the problem because the ones "protected" are seen as weaker than before.
A gay kid who has been shielded from ignorance and hate is left socially crippled once he/she is out on their own. I'm not saying throw them in the Thunderdome, but leaving the government to "protect" them is the worst thing their parents can do.
"Winning Equality and Justice for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender New Yorkers and goblins and goblin chin moles that eat babies and Our Families..."
16 -- No, I wouldn't. An asshole is an asshole. I don't care for what reason, among the 1027374159028463 reasons possible. I would want them prosecuted just like any other asshole.
What if a group of assholes rob an old lady and then beat her up. Why would that crime be any less important than the same group beating up a gay guy. Fuck that. It's just a way for special or minority groups to turn themselves into untouchable "holy cows". It is unfair to everyone else and it is infuriating. I understand equal rights, but this is special treatment.
Let's put it this way: If I acted exactly as my deepest sensibilities ultimate shape my personality--that is, openly and vocally oppose organized religion, support intelligent pro-eugenics for the purpose of ridding of inheritable diseases and extremely problematic personality disorders, advocate for increased interest and acceptance of the neuropharmaceutical/psychiatric transhumanist movement, and however many more extremely rare progressive causes and philosophies--I would be vilified and most likely beaten down/killed before I reached safety.
Many 'advocates for equality' need to understand that acceptance is glacial, and while there's nothing wrong with making efforts to encourage acceptance amongst the uneducated masses, you need to know when and where such endeavors are appropriate. This is not as 'common sense' as you may think.
#15 The charges for murder are different if you plan it in advance or if in the heat of the moment you grab a rock, throw it and kill someone although you might have been aiming for their groin, right? If a robbery goes wrong and a gun goes off the charges are different than if a psycho goes into a home and slaughters a family, right? So why is it not different when a bunch of assholes decide to go out and beat a LGBT person based only on who they are than when say a dude gets angry at another dude in a bar and knocks the shit out of him. Hate crimes are about intent, which has always been a part of prosecution and sentencing.
All this is the sissification of America and the enemy is laughing their heads off. Feeling my ass, they'd just put a bullet in you ass. Liberalism is really a mental disorder. Get a chance and watch GI Jane with Demi Moore and that's how you treat a woman if she wants to be in the Navy Seals and gays aren't any better.
awww todd, you're a homophobe? but your snark had me convinced you had quite a few brain cells working together! damn. seriously though, i'm really surprised.
21 - fuckstick. what do you think i was referring to by "all this crap"? the bullying of faggots? obviously not. if you didn't get that you're too stupid to live. eat shit and die.
27... But even robbing an old lady takes planning and isn't an accident. And, of course, you're going to rough her up during the act. Or you can go to a bar and get into a fight with some guy because one of you looked at the other funny. I don't care what the reason is for you not liking someone, whether it is their sex preference or race or some other stupid reason like maybe because the guy hit on your girlfriend so you waited outside the bar to beat the shit out of him.
I completely disagree with the idea of a "hate crime" and that it should provide for extra punishment over regular crimes. It is special treatment, no doubt about it.
lmao @ So when a gay person joins the army, hopefully this law will make their drill sergeant sit everyone in a friendship circle and talk about feelings instead of all that yelling and bullying.
I love Todd's sense of humor, it's the only reason I visit this site.
When are any real problems, like the economy or public school standards, going to get the attention that this crap is getting? #15 is right- this is nothing but special treatment.
The problem is that you can't legislate this shit and it only brings more attention to anyone who is being bullied (gay or otherwise) and that makes the bullies want to ... oh hmmm let me think ... bully them MORE!
Doesn't anyone remember hischool and middle school? We were all selfish, intolerant, assholes with a million hormones. I thankfully had parents who listened to me cry once in a while and than told me to shut the fuck up. Pampering just encourages kids to act stupid cause it gives them what they want, attention. How about we legistlate "do your fucking homework and shut the fuck up" law ... I'd vote for that one ...
