  1. lucky for us it wasn't water-on-the-brain, or we'd be enduring Molly Mondays now!

  2. Welcome back Todd. Glad to hear you kicked your gall bladder's ass. Now get back to work, you snarky bastard... :)

  4. Oh come on Todd!
Its not like it was a MAJOR organ
Like your tonsils or an ankle or anything

    P.S. Great 2Pac reference!
Except yours are w/out the sheet

P.P.S. Molly has done great in your absence
The Molly-haters are amusing, mostly b/c their attempts at being funny can't hold a candle to you or Molly

  5. Glad you're recovering. Sudden illnesses and auto accidents always happen to other people. It's a shock when it happens to "us".

  6. living w/o a gall bladder sucks. sure, the excruciating pain is gone, but now every piece of greasy food you want to eat is going to fast track its way through your colon like LiLo is a dyke bar.
get ready to spend the rest of your life taking 5 craps a day.

  8. "I can see how me getting internal organs removed can really inconvenience you when you're trying to fuck off at work."

You cut to the very core of me, Todd. Also, Molly did really well. I could do without the beefcake, but at least her copy is entertaining.

  9. 6 - I don't have that problem at all. I read it can affect a few people in that way, but it's been 2 years for me and I'm eating just as well as before and without any problems whatsoever. I will say it's better it eat smaller portions than before because I suppose you don't digest as quickly, but I've been eating normally - just try not to overeat at one sitting but that's not good for anyone anyway. I made sure to recover well so for the first month after surgery I stuck to baby food, and over a 3 month period I made my way to all regular food. I am so happy for the surgery. After 5 trips to the ER for gallbladder attacks and the loss of 50 pounds due to the fact I couldn't eat anything without triggering one, I thought I was going to die. Anyway, I take 1 crap a day now and my digestion is awesome. Oh, prior to that I could go for 10 or more days in between because I just couldn't digest anything.

Good luck, Todd. Take your time to recover. Don't go eating a giant burger or BBQ ribs right away. Let your system re-learn how to digest food again. Small portions and gentle food for a while.

  12. I'm mutterhals and I have all the organs I was born with. Buy my book.

  13. Sorry to hear about your infirmity, Todd. If it makes you feel any better, I can fuck off at work without you when necessary. BTW Molly was great but don't start donating organs.

  14. Please don't die Todd. We love you. And if you do Molly and Dave will take over the site and I will have to kill myself.

  15. A lady @ our church just had her gallbladder out; she looks great (she dropped about 15 lbs.). Don't overeat or eat anything greasy & avoid alcohol (VERY IMPORTANT) and you will be fine, Todd! Good luck.

    By anonymous, on October 11, 2010 06:09:10

  16. Todd, you may find one extreme or the other - you will either be able to eat everything under the sun, or not be able to tolerate greasy food at ALL. My doc warned me to take it easy because most of his patients found they could eat ANYTHING afterwards and so it was easy to overeat. Get better, you'll be back to yourself in a week.

  17. Pffft.... gallbladder is easy.... few small incisions. Had mine taken out at 17. Now, having a kidney removed.... not so fun.... worse than a c-section childbirth. Ok... I'm done trying to one- up ya, Hope you feel better soon.

  19. You should have tried Gold Coin Grass instead. Works like a charm for liver and gallbladder issues.
