Legally, as she is a minor, the producers of tyra's lame ass show are required to obtain a release from the kid's mom, and to inform the mother of any plans & scheduling. The mom has the show by the short & curlies; they really fucked up here. This will get settled out of court very quickly, as they don't want all the details of their massive fuckup to become public. Can you imagine the outrage if Tyra's viewing audience (made up of mostly mothers) found out that they'd purposely put a child in harm's way, purposely without informing the mom or obtaining her consent? Tyra would lose the majority of her audience; expect the producers to be replaced very soon...
#1 is right, but we also know how mindful 15 year olds can be; they think they know everything. I can easily see a petulant 15 year old keeping all of this secret from her mother, especially if they paid her an appearance fee.
Tyra's show is good so quit bashing it. Second - the mother is absolutely correct. 15 is too young to be on a show with that theme. I hope mom wins the case.

#3, you're absolutely right.
But I can't see how a TV show could NOT have that in place. Methinks a forged signature is in the works somewhere...

I don't know what the big deal is. Every 15 year old girl I've had sex with said they liked it.

If you think Tyra is annoying now, just wait until Oprah retires.
On that day, Tyra becomes the most influential hairweave, sorry, the most influential to housewives, in America.
That's beyond unsettling....

Mom's got a good case but I wonder where she was when all this was going on, including the behavior of the daughter that lead up to this.

Wow her head is HUGE! Tyra's I mean....don't worry, she'll be back with another show. The size of her ego is dwarfed only by the size of her forehead

I can't stand Banks and agree with #3. I hope she gets sued along with her producers, that was beyond irresponsible.
