To blame Bush for the current economic situation is not fair. This goes back many years, probably starting under Carter with his home ownership initiatives. As for socialism, it simply doesn't work. This unprecedented economic growth we are seeing from China comes from the economic deregulation which occurred back in 1978. If anything, government intervention is to blame for our current situation.
