There are 2 types of women that say things like this: 1. Women with commitment issues 2. Women that are dating commitment-phobic men, who have them that a ring and a "piece of paper" don't mean anything.
She just doesn't want to scare off a guy. But notice the last sentence where she says she may be the first to get married. So she wants to get married like any other girl, just doesn't want to sound like she's desperate or in a hurry. So there is nothing wrong with anything she said here and it's a non-story.
I just don't know why she chooses to date one of the Jonas brothers. If I were a girl, I wouldn't want to be associated with any of them. I think she should pick someone cooler.
I have never met a girl who feels getting married is unimportant. Deep down inside every girl truly wants to get married and walk down the isle with their beautiful wedding dress on and looking glamorous. Their is nothing wrong with that but why try to hide it.
#5 is right. The girl is like "I don't see a need to get married, ON THE OTHER HAND I MIGHT BE THE FIRST TO DO SO." If that's not all over the place I don't know what is. So basically she still wants to and isn't opposed to it. Btw I see if a woman doesn't want to or is in no rush, she's seen as a cool chick, whereas if a guy in society is like that, he's a "commitment phobe." Not to me. More like he's a cool guy. Or a smart one at the least.
