Great rant Todd! The gay rights movement continually sets back its own agenda because of the rhetoric from people like Lynch and Lady Gaga. Sometimes they make me want to go against all of my political and philosophical beliefs just so I can root against them and see them lose because of how they talk about the issue. Gays probably would have equal rights already if people like Gaga and Lynch weren't a part of the movement.
To that end, it makes me laugh that she talks about doing things for gay rights when she stars on a show where the only gay characters are the most flamboyant and feminine guy in school and the bigot football player who bullies him. It would be refreshing to see a normal gay character on TV for once: one who is neither flamboyant nor a bigot... you know, just like a large portion of the gay population.
