It's interesting that nobody asked the soldiers or their commanders if they wanted to repeal DADT. Of course, liberals know better than anyone how things should be done and how we should think. I'm Libertarian and my only concern is for the troops now; hopefully the repeal won't affect them adversely. Of course liberals wouldn't consider that.

There are now and always have been gays in the military. The difference is those gays were more concerned with defending the country than being out.
This is about one thing and one thing only. If someone who is out is denied a promotion, discrimination suit. If a drill sergeant is hard on someone who is out, discrimination suit. If someone who is out gets a blanket party, discrimination suit.
