  1. I hate musicals and I hate Glee...and proud.

    Kudos to the Foos!

By Glee sucks, on March 18, 2011 06:07:42

  2. Haha! Good stuff. I wonder what'll happen if Pat Smear starts talking shit about Glee. The asshole creator (I'm not clicking back to to get his name) going to start calling Pat a self-loathing homo?

    By duder, on March 18, 2011 06:11:37

  3. Long live rock!

By The ghost of Keith, on March 18, 2011 06:12:46

  4. I'll never forgive Dave Grohl for recruiting Josh Homme into that shitty hipster band with the old fucker from Led Zeppelin.

    By mutterhals, on March 18, 2011 06:16:31

  5. Slash needs to call up Robert Evans and turn him lose on Murphy. I'd actually watch that.

    By anonymous, on March 18, 2011 06:17:37

  6. WOW.. what can I say. This is an F'ed up country when a show about musicals is in the top 5 shows. Now give the kids knives and really bad attitudes and maybe I'd watch. On second thought, it would STILL be a F'ing musical. I side with GNR, Kings and the Foo Fighters. JUST SAY NO!

    By anonymous, on March 18, 2011 06:23:00

  7. dave grohl for... president?

    By anonymous, on March 18, 2011 06:38:50

  8. I agree with a previous poster: Long live Rock! The second that any rock band gives their songs to Glee then they have lost my respect forever. I've seen the show and it sucks. More artists need to say no. Glee must be stopped.

    By anonymous, on March 18, 2011 06:55:00

  9. Preach on Dave. Fuck glee and all of its stupid shitty fans.

    By anonymous, on March 18, 2011 07:02:26

  10. Glee was on for 5 minutes max by mistake the other night, I'm like what is this gay ass shit!?
    GLEE!That shit is weak!

    By anonymous, on March 18, 2011 07:35:55

  11. Murphy is a fucking crybaby. If a band doesn't want THEIR PROPERTY on his piece of shit show, he cries like he's being double-fisted by Popeye. I'm glad that Grohl bitch-slapped this whiney poof.

    By anonymous, on March 18, 2011 07:53:24

  12. Poor whiny Grohl whining about his has-been status.

    By anonymous, on March 18, 2011 08:02:37

  13. #12 you must be daft or you must be a Glee fan. Either way it's the same thing. Why don't you and that douche fag Glee creator take a long walk on a short bridge.

    By anonymous, on March 18, 2011 08:10:39

  14. Dave Grohl is the sh1t - I second @7

By Foo You, on March 18, 2011 08:16:02

  15. I still think Dave Grohl should be President of the Universe.

    By Deadsider, on March 18, 2011 08:25:01

  16. I don't always agree with Grohl's politics...but today he is a hero.

    By anonymous, on March 18, 2011 08:37:03

  17. FUCK!...Glee, FUCK!...Ryan Murphy and finally FUCK!...FOX!

By Dick Face, on March 18, 2011 08:51:40

  18. Ryan Murphy's only interest in the band was when he misheard the name and thought it was a slang expression for anal sex.

    By anonymous, on March 18, 2011 09:01:11

  19. "Glee" is not some benchmark of gay culture and acceptance. It's a TV show on the fucking Fox network, a property whose sole purpose is to make the network lots & lots of money. It will be dropped like a hot rock as soon as it becomes unprofitable. It's a TV fad, like "Melrose Place" or "Prison Break".

    By anonymous, on March 18, 2011 09:55:49

  20. DAVE YOU ARE THE MAN! SOMEONE WITH COJONES!

    By anonymous, on March 18, 2011 10:00:31

  21. Glee is absolutely pitiful. Nothing but a bunch of middle aged housewives and their hormonal daughters watch that shit and it's only in between that equally putrid Edward and Bella crap.Between Charlie Sheen and this crap is it any wonder America has fallen?

    By anonymous, on March 18, 2011 10:01:23

  22. @#4 Homme is GOD! BUT Just because you think Hipsters listen to that band does not make them "shitty"! Damn good music and not far from recent QOTSA stuff. Assuming your a fan of QOTSA of course since you seem to love Josh. You do realize he wrote 90% of the stuff on that album right?

BTW, I'm sure you belong to a clique of your own bud and I'm sure there are plenty of people out there that find your type annoying as well. Fuck hipsters, fuck your clique, just enjoy the good stuff

    By anonymous, on March 18, 2011 10:16:03

  23. @#12 Has been status? He happens to be in two of the most talked about bands in the world right now and has the luxury of playing with just about any musician he chooses! Glee won't last another season or two tops! Hell, I have two daughters and they already hate that fucking show!

    By anonymous, on March 18, 2011 10:18:17

  24. Glee is a revolutionary TV show, showcasing some of American's best young talent and great comedy, while at the same time touching on human rights issues here in the US, as it pertains to gays and minorities.

By Ryan Murphy, on March 18, 2011 10:42:03

  25. Artists deserve the right to decide where their work is used, whether it be a television show or a tv commercial. I would not be indignant, for example, if I worked at KIDZBOB and some artist turned down the offer to have their song redone. It's their choice, even if it would make them lots of money, or even if they have no good reason for denying the offer. Hence, freedom.

However, Kings of Leon are shitheads. It is one thing to want to hold your music to some form of artistic integrity, but to disrespect another artist by claiming to be better than them? The creator of Glee is being righteously protective of his art - just like KoL did, and y'all just have a double standard.

    By June, on March 18, 2011 10:45:25

  26. Glee fags don't use logic, they use tears.

    By anonymous, on March 18, 2011 10:48:21

  27. "It's Friday, Friday..." Fuck, I can't get that song out of my head now...curse you Todd!

    By toddiesboy, on March 18, 2011 11:07:53

  28. I like Glee, but love Dave for doing this. The Glee creator shouldn't feel entitled to use other people's songs.

    By anonymous, on March 18, 2011 12:03:11

  29. There are plenty of Elton John, GaGa & Madonna tunes available for use on "Glee": not every rock artist is Ok with having their stuff run through the Fag-O-Tizer. And I'm thankful for that.

    By anonymous, on March 18, 2011 12:15:22

  30. "there goes my heroooooo!"

    Yay Dave.

    By bitingontinfoil, on March 18, 2011 12:56:06

  31. The most important thing to consider is that Glee has had more hits than the Beatles. The end is near......

    By anonymous, on March 18, 2011 13:00:21

  32. FUCK YOU Ryan Murphy, you colossal ASSHOLE. You are a no-talent-ass-clown.

    By anonymous, on March 18, 2011 14:35:06

  33. Dang. There's a "Everlong" joke here. I just can't put it together.

    By anonymous, on March 18, 2011 19:38:15

  34. Every time I hear Glee's shit-tastic cover of "Don't Stop Believing," I hold my phone up to my ear and play my ringtone, which is the real version of the song. Emphasis on REAL. It's to remind myself of the fact that no bastardization of a classic can kill what is and always will be real music.

    By anonymous, on March 18, 2011 22:38:01

  35. Can you imagine that main chick from Glee butchering 'There Goes My Hero' while fluttering her eyelashes at her teacher or something.

He's right but I can't believe Dave gave them this bit of publicity.

    By Veronica, on March 19, 2011 00:58:13

  36. @31: LMFAO!! They have hits made of COVERS of FORMER HITS. Let's not forget their target audience - kids who have been exposed to such "talent" as Britney, Avril, Beiber, etc. etc.

    By bitingontinfoil, on March 19, 2011 05:27:17

  37. The only people with the right to play their music is the people that created that music. Don't like it Gleefags STFU>FO! Nobody has a right to anyone else's songs.

    By chucky, on March 19, 2011 06:28:37

  38. and no ones even said anything about the convicted pedio song being in the show and thats he's getting money from it (and by the way its gary glitter)

    By anonymous, on March 19, 2011 09:00:15

  39. Glee is a revolutionary TV show, show...blah blah blah
By Ryan Murphy, on March 18, 2011 10:42:03

There's nothing revolutionary about faggotry, son.

By Steve Drill, on March 19, 2011 10:06:25

  40. I wanna hear Glee cover "Freye-day, Freye-day, tomorrow is Satuuur-day"

    By bitingontinfoil, on March 19, 2011 13:19:28

  41. Next target: Judas Priest.

    By anonymous, on March 20, 2011 09:02:59

  42. Yeah, notice how Dave Grohl isn't filling his comment with ignorant, homophobic jackassery? Maybe some of you bright lights commenting on this story should take a cue and do the same. No one has to love Glee or Ryan Murphy, but the name-calling and ugliness is truly pathetic. Grow up please, mods included. (although this site is really funny most of the time)

    By Jamie, on March 21, 2011 18:14:55

  43. I'm a Glee fan, but I'm glad that Grohl has made his position clear. Ryan Murphy needs to get his head out of his ass (although I'm sure he thinks it feels good there... ooooh) and realize that a lot of bands don't want their music covered by some obviously autotuned twenty-something high school students. I must heartily admit that the vast majority of the covers on the show are pretty bad... or downright horrible. The appeal (for me) isn't the music, but the un-PC comedy... and at times the story... and Naya Rivera + Heather Morris. VERY NIIIICE!

  44. Some gays just cry alot.

    By anonymous, on March 22, 2011 12:28:12

  45. Typical gay blackmail tactic. Cry, whine, & cry homophobe until submission from victim.
