Deadsider is a douche canoe. The Crow IS sacred, IS an incredible movie regradless of the backstory of Brandon, and losing respect for someone because of a movie they like? Go kick rocks ya jagaloon.
I really hope this movie doesn't get made. I love the original. I hate City of Angels. They did a third that was even worse. Please leave this movie alone. It's a damn classic and shouldn't be redone. If it were to be redone, Bradley Cooper shouldn't be within a 100 mile radius of the set, and I would want a reputable director (Chris Nolan) directing. Then...maybe...

I don't understand this. Why bother with the remake? Why not just re-release the movie in theaters? That way you don't have to spend money making the movie and you can still bank on the revenue made from the theater sales. Don't believe me? Take a good look at the money made from the original Star Wars re-release every 5 years.
Who in the world thought this was a good idea?! Don't get me wrong, I like Bradley Cooper, he's good at playing the perpetual frat boy/ we-needed-someone-pretty-for-this-action-movie-and-Gerard-Butler-already-turned-us-down, type characters. But the Crow? REALLY? Brandon Lee just had this animalistic, stealthy, could kill you with just his eyes way about him. Bradley doesn't. There's no one that could play it like Brandon, please for the love of God Hollywood, leave this one alone.

Wow watching the clip I forgot how interesting that movie was. I only ever watched the first since Lee was in it and its been years. I like Cooper, but that doesn't mean they have to make this. Its kinda like how one of the high-ups at Warner already said they're remaking Batman after the current run (idiots). When you get something right, why not just leave it alone and do more right elsewhere instead of just trying to cash in or ruining the legacy. Kinda like how the original Clash of the Titans was better than the new one yet they're already gonna give it a sequel.
