I'm from NC. I'm a country music fan. I also currently live in Nashville, TN. I can assure you that I didn't pull for this kid. He's not very talented, has a really goofy eyebrow thing going on, and at best is a 2nd rate Josh Turner impersonator. I can also assure you that the majority of folks here in Nashville agree...He won't go far. He's been pretty much a joke for around here for a while. Enjoy it now Alfred, it's not going to last for long.
#1 nailed it. I could end the thread there. I try not to be bigoted to country music or southerners. But Scotty is a terrible example, both of what the genre and the people of NC are capable of.
I think he's got an amazing voice. I'm LMAO at the tactical use of the Alfred E. Newman picture to permanently associate his name with it in the Google search engine. Pretty clever. Pretty devious. Pretty IDLYITW.com lol
he's not any worse than a bunch of schlock that nashville produces, seriously, that town is a factory for lame pop country that plays well on the radio. he'll fit right in.
I didn't watch much AI this year, but any one who even had a inkling of the show could tell you it was pretty much over when Pia got the boot. VFTW wins again.
Haley should have won. She has great legs, sounds different and isn't a fake asshole. Pia is hot looking but her voice is mediocre, put her in a movie or a sex tape with megan Fox and she'll have a career thanks to Todd.
I haven't yet figured out if Durbin is kinda cool or a douche.
When will black metal or grindcore be represented on Idol? I want to see somebody singing Anal Cunt's "I Sent Concentration Camp Footage to America's Funniest Home Videos" to Stephen Tyler.
Meh, I'm glad he won. I watched the bre minimum of AI. Flipping to it whenever commercials was on something else. I think he has a great country music voice and will do well.

Lauren... not sure she has it in her. She's got the voice, but I don't know if she's got what it takes to make a singing career. We'll see.
