There is nothing original about Lady GaGa. She purportedly stole the look from a friend, every single song and video sounds like something seen and heard before. Right now her "You and I" song sounds like some Shania Twain country-crossover tune. Music is music and hers is no different on the pop charts, just not original. I fastforwarded all her Joe scenes on the VMAs after the intro. I'd like a coffee now, please.
It's hopeless. I read a review where the writer noted the audience became restless and annoyed during the "Jo Calderone" opening...and then concluded that Gaga had given a brilliant Andy Kaufman type of performance.

@35 Interesting analogy, but for me the difference is that I can personally at least tolerate and occasionally appreciate some of Seth McFarlane's creations, whereas I consider the "Gaga" thing a complete freakin blight on humanity.
