South Central! Lock your doors and roll up the windows! Pfft! I met some Aussies on holiday a couple of weeks ago and they explicitly wanted to check out South Central. I told them to go to Florence and Normandy to start. They had a good time and guess what? They weren't murdered.
South Central or not, it's standard police operating procedure to put ride alongs in a bulletproof vest if they're going to be in a higher crime area. It ain't racist; the cops down south do it for ridealongs when they go through redneck areas as well...
Standard procedure to wear a bullet proof vest for all ride alongs. I've met Lucy Liu, she is stunning and super cool and very nice in person. You have to write headlines that grab attention, I get it. Try being funny and clever instead of such a hater... Like you wouldn't do a drive along with LAPD, and you wouldn't REQUEST a bullet proof vest... Hahaha
