I heard someone else in first class said that he was talking on the phone to somebody, refused to get off, and started cursing at people when they told him they'd throw him off the plane.
Personally I think that version of the story is a lot more believable.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) requires passengers to completely power off their electronic devices as the RFI they emit could interfere with electronic controls/instruments on the plane. There is usually a sign in the passenger compartment that says this. If you don't the flight attendant will ask you to comply or leave the plane. This is common practice and most people just abide by the rule. Except for Baldwin who is a self righteous prick who thinks he can do anything he wants.
Who but a scumbag takes his feelings of entitlement so far that they get kicked off a plane. I see now why he wants to run for political office as a Democrat.
He's doing PR for Words With Friends, and just got paid for getting thrown off the flight. And, he got WWF a LOT of publicity in the process. Get it now, folks?
What the hell was he doing flying commercial anyway? Shouldn't he be on an NBCU/COMCAST corporate jet? seriously, wtf? if Alex can't afford a NetJets card who can?
