Giuliana Rancic Is Getting A Double Mastectomy

E! News host and extra in Antz, Giuliana Rancic, was diagnosed with breast cancer in October. Today, she revealed that she will undergo a double mastectomy. Us Magazine reports:
Rancic, 37, broke the news in a statement to E! News and with a live appearance on The Today Show with husband Bill Rancic at her side. She explained to E! why she wanted to share the difficult news with the world. "First, I would like to take the stigma away. 'Mastectomy' the word seemed so scary to me at first. After doing research and seeing the advancements, the surgery has come a long way from 20 years ago. The results can be incredible," Rancic said. "Not only can it save your life, but you can come out feeling healthier and with a positive self-image...Second, I want to encourage everyone to be proactive with their health and get checked out."

"Getting"? Looks like she already had one! ZING! I'll be here all week!

Giuliana Rancic Is Going About This All Wrong

Giuliana and Bill Rancic really want to give birth to a kid. How's that going? Radar Online reports:
Giuliana and Bill Rancic reveal they're open to adoption as they try IVF for a third time. They are in the midst of their third bout of IVF but Giuliana and Bill are keeping their options open. While the couple is still hopeful they will have a baby of their own, they aren't ruling out adoption, they told Us magazine. "We're not opposed to adoption," Bill, 40, said at the Nivea New Years Eve preview in New York. The E! Host and her husband have suffered two failed attempts at IVF with the latest round ending in a heartbreaking miscarriage. As RadarOnline.com previously reported, the two took a year off baby making and have been traveling the world before trying again. Giuliana, 37, is now hopeful that it will be third time lucky for them. "If our doctor says after this cycle, 'I don't think this is going to happen for you naturally. You're going to have to look at more options,' then we will," she said. "But if someone is telling you, 'I can get you pregnant,' then we're trying it."
If it takes even one cycle of in-vitro fertilization, I'd assume "this" wasn't going to happen naturally. Giuliana Rancic is 37 and barely looks capable of carrying a football, much less a baby to term. If she really wants to get pregnant, it'd be a lot cheaper and much more fun just to eat a sandwich and bang a Spanish dude.
