Friends are warning Britney Spears to break it off with her new man she met in rehab, musician Howie Day. Day was arrested in 2004 for locking a female fan in his tour bus bathroom after she refused to have sex with him. The following year, Day was arrested at Boston's Logan International Airport after he, under the influence of sleeping pills, alcohol and stupidity, became verbally abusive toward the flight crew and began kicking the seats of other passengers. A source says:

People have told Britney point-blank this guy has a permanent barstool in the Loser Lounge. I was with her when one of her most trusted girlfriends told her, 'You cannot let this guy into your life - after he gets a little publicity he will be gone.' But when people say stuff like that, it's music to Britney's ears. She likes the drama."

When Kevin heard they had a sleepover at her house, everyone wanted to know about it...He lit up a cigarette and said he guessed you have to head to the dump to find trash, referring to how Britney and Howie met while in rehab."

Wow, how big of a piece shit do you have to be to have a guy like K-Fed making fun of you? Kevin's greatest accomplishment was not pulling out of Britney Spears. Good luck trying to explain to Britney why Howie Day is a loser. Her mental capacity is somewhere between a Coke can and a Teddy Ruxpin.

After meeting him during her stay at Promises, Britney Spears is now reportedly dating musician, Howie Day. Spears is said to have "fell hard" for Day and is taking him to her cousin's wedding on June 2. MSNBC reports:

Britney just lights up and seems back to her old self when she talks to Howie or tells people about him," an "insider" tells the mag. "She thinks he's very talented - and says he's the best kisser ever!" But not everyone is thrilled about the romance. Spears' mother, Lynne, is concerned about Day's past: he's been arrested twice and was sent to rehab as part of his probation. Lynne wants Britney to be with someone outside the music industry," says the Spears family insider. "Howie is always on the road and exposed to influences that are discouraged in rehab."

I have no idea who Howie Day is, but apparently he has awesome taste. Only those with a discerning palette can appreciate a bald drug addict with uncontrollable acne. Some say he may be making a mistake, but we are powerless against the yearnings of the heart.
